Anne Lyons sadly passed away on may 6 2008 aged 59 after battling cancer for 13 years .Mammy was a very brave person who went through so much over the years with her illness but never moaned about it and always carried on smiling . She was a wonderful mum to 8 children and a brilliant wife to our dad and a great nanny to all the grandchildren.We are all lost without her presence never imagined life could be so hard to lose someone so close there is a huge gap that can never be filled.The pain doesnt get any easier the sadness is always there and mammy you are always in our hearts and on our minds miss you more and more as the days go on not hearing your voice.mammy was a great sister to eileen maureen and peggy who sadly miss her.She also had a brother jimmy who sadly passed away when he was 16 hopefully they are now together again with their mum and dad who mammy also sadly lost both her parents when she was very young. We should have been celebrating mammys 60th birthday this sunday the 10th of august which she was really looking forward to but sadly she didnt make it .We were very proud of you mammy the way you carried on and fought your illness for all those years always smiling.Love you loads mammy and always missing you dearly god bless from us all xxxxxxxxx
Life is getting so much harder and sader without you mammy so hard to cope with xxxxx dont understand where people are coming from when they say time gets easier xxxx
